Less than 10 minutes by bike from our charming hotel in Montpellier

Head for the Place de la Comédie , the beating heart of Montpellier, which is one of the largest pedestrian areas in Europe, dominated by the Comédie opera house built in 1899 on the model of the one in Paris. In the centre of the square, the fountain of the Three Graces, sculpted by Etienne Dantoine in 1773, stands proudly. The place is perfect to see the city come alive and to lose oneself in the medieval alleys where beautiful shops with vaulted ceilings are nestled (designers, antique dealers, galleries, tea rooms...).

Just a stone's throw away, the Musée Fabre Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, in the heart of an exceptional monument, offers one of the most beautiful Fine Arts museums in Europe with works from the Renaissance to the present day and a wing dedicated to the artist Pierre Soulages.

Montpellier is also a leading destination for contemporary architecture. Take advantage of your stay at Mas de Lafeuillade to enjoy the city's colourful neighbourhoods, most of which are within walking or cycling distance. Port Marianne , which lights up at nightfall, offers some great design signatures: the Hôtel de Ville , a blue vessel designed by Jean Nouvel and François Fontès, the Nuage , a strange colour-changing building designed by Philippe Starck (one of the first inflatable buildings in Europe) and opposite the RBC Design Center , an incredible design and contemporary furniture shop. The Odysseum , a unique complex designed for leisure activities, offers multiplexes, an ice rink, an aquarium, a planetarium, a shopping centre, a fitness centre, a themed brasserie... Finally, the Antigone district, close to the Mas, invites you to travel back in time.
